Using Sendmail

The following instructions assume your machine is running sendmail.

First you will have to create a virtusertable.db file by running:
makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable.db /etc/mail/virtusertable
The same procedure must be followed to create an access.db file.

in the virtusertable file place the following:
@yourdomain.com incoming

This will place all incoming email to a mailbox called ``incoming''. By configuring your dispatch.py script as a cron job you can make it collect email from the ``incoming'' mailbox and redistribute it to the appropriate Vorras Mailer account.

Sendmail typically logs errors messages in a file found in /var/log/mail.log (exact name and path may differ on your system). Use this to debug any problems.

Note: Most web hosting companies offer catch-all accounts; please contact yours for more information.
